Probably "Let's see what THIS does!"
Andrew finally got to feel her kick just the other night. It was like 5 AM and I was tossing and turning in bed. I've been trying to sleep on my left side (I like facing the wall) but for some reason, whenever I'm just about comfortable on my left side, she starts freaking out! It is the funniest thing! I wonder if maybe I'm squishing her head! So i rolled onto my back and she was kicking REALLY hard. So I put my hand on my belly to see if I could feel it from the outside, and I could definitely feel it! So I woke Andrew up and made him feel. He was so excited! And then he went right back to sleep, haha.
Every time I feel her kicking and punching, I get so excited. Its like its the first time all over again! I can't wait for her to be here! I know the time is going to fly by (I can't even believe I'm 23 weeks already!), but I just want her to be here to hold and even to change her poopy diapeys! Haha!
Names, names, names. Andrew and I have come up with two names that we like, and we have decided to remain undecided until we see her. I want her name to suit her.
Name one is:

Upon reading Neil Gaiman's Coraline, I fell in love with the name. Andrew loved it too, and we both even said that we wouldn't mind having a daughter named Coraline (not TOGETHER, of course. haha!)However, when we did find out we were expecting a little girl, I wasn't so sure about naming her Coraline. It doesn't flow with Andrew's traditional, Mexican last name. A name I really liked that DID was Amelia. Andrew really liked Coraline and suggested Amelia as the middle name, which took some time to grow on me, but now I ADORE it!
Name two is:

Luna Belle is such a pretty name! I suggested Luna (I was thinking about Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter, LOL!) one morning at like 3 am, and we were semi-delirious trying to come up with middle names. He said Belle, and I was like THAT'S IT!!!
Another name we were considering was Zoe, which is nice, but its fairly popular. Luna or Coraline will definitely be the only Luna or Coraline in her class, but neither is too crazy. Well . . . to us, anyway.
Any feedback? What do you guys think? Coraline or Luna?
To answer your question, I am hitting on 27 weeks :) Funny thing is, because I went in so late after finding out I was pregnant, determining the age was not as accurate. So I am most likely a couple more weeks along (which is what I told them to begin with, LOL)
ReplyDeleteBoth names you have chosen are beautiful! We are still debating on two names as well... I can't stand how long it is taking us @_@
Feeling the baby move is magical! Whenever I feel her kick, I instantly grab the nearest person and make them feel her too :P haha
